Terms & Conditions

Revised Date: 1 August 2025 Bangalore Registered

Terms Acceptance

This legally binding document establishes the consensus between you—the educator or educational institution—and Inquiry Classroom. By accessing our platform, purchasing any digital assets, or registering for our professional development sessions, you explicitly confirm your total agreement with these mandates. If you represent an organization, you warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

We operate from Bangalore, India, and these terms are designed to facilitate a transparent and respectful relationship within the global IB PYP community. We reserve the right to update these conditions to reflect changes in our service offerings or legal requirements. Your continued interaction with the platform after such updates signify your acceptance of the revised consensus.

Ownership & Intellectual Property

The Inquiry Classroom platform, including its unique source code, the artistic design of our posters, the pedagogical structure of our UOI packs, and the “Inquiry Classroom” trademark, is the exclusive proprietary property of our founders. These assets are protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark statutes. All rights not explicitly granted to you are strictly reserved by us.

Educational License: When you acquire a resource, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal classroom use or small-group instruction. This license does not permit you to resell our materials, redistribute them on public file-sharing sites, or utilize our proprietary methodologies to create competing commercial training products.

Member Attestations

By engaging with our platform, you attest and warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into this contract; (b) the information you provide during registration is truthful and current; and (c) your use of our resources will comply with all applicable local and international educational regulations.

If we discover that a member has provided fraudulent information or is under the age of majority, we reserve the right to suspend their access immediately to protect the integrity of our educator network. Maintaining an honest professional profile is essential for the validity of the certificates we issue.

Resource Access & Delivery

All resources purchased from Inquiry Classroom are delivered digitally. Upon successful transaction processing, an automated email containing unique download links will be sent to the email address associated with your profile. You may also access your purchased files at any time by logging into the member dashboard and navigating to the “My Downloads” section.

Please note that webinar recordings are subject to a restricted viewing policy. Access to the full recording is typically valid for 6 hours from the moment you first initiate playback. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection for downloading high-resolution assets or streaming recorded content.

Account Management

Your Inquiry Classroom account is personal to you. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your profile. We recommend using unique, strong passwords and logging out after sessions on shared school computers to prevent unauthorized access to your purchased digital library.

We reserve the authority to reclaim or modify any username that we deem to be misleading, offensive, or in violation of third-party trademarks. Users who experience a security breach related to their account must notify our support team within 24 hours to mitigate potential data loss or unauthorized transactions.

Prohibited Usage

To ensure a safe and productive environment for all educators, we strictly prohibit the following actions: (a) using automated scripts or “scrapers” to harvest our curriculum data; (b) sharing your paid access with non-subscribers; and (c) uploading malicious code, viruses, or “Trojan horses” that could disrupt our hosting infrastructure.

Furthermore, members must not use our community forums or review sections to engage in harassment, bullying, or the dissemination of hate speech. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any activity that tarnishes the professional reputation of Inquiry Classroom or its community members, and such violations will result in permanent banning.

User Contributions

Our platform often invites you to share your classroom inquiry stories, photos of student work (with proper consent), and pedagogical reflections. By sharing this content, you grant Inquiry Classroom a worldwide, royalty-free license to utilize these contributions for the purpose of community building and platform promotion, provided that we do not violate student privacy standards.

You remain the primary owner of your creative work. However, you warrant that any “Contribution” you post does not infringe on the intellectual property of others (such as unauthorized use of another teacher’s templates) and that you have the right to grant us the aforementioned usage license.

Feedback Standards

We value honest feedback from the PYP community to help us refine our resources. When providing ratings or reviews, you must ensure: (a) the feedback is based on your actual experience with the resource; (b) it does not contain inflammatory or racist language; and (c) it does not contain links to competing commercial websites.

Inquiry Classroom reserves the right to moderate and remove reviews that are found to be fraudulent (e.g., “Review Bombing” by competitors) or that violate our community standards. We do not endorse the opinions expressed in user reviews and are not liable for any claims arising from them.

Third-party Links

Our platform may feature links to external educational tools, IB documentation, or partner websites. These external sites are not monitored or controlled by Inquiry Classroom. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content accuracy, or any losses you might incur from interacting with these third-party environments.

Inclusion of any external link does not imply our endorsement of that site or its products. We advise you to review the specific terms and policies of any third-party gateway you navigate to from our platform to ensure your digital safety remains intact.

Platform Maintenance

We strive to keep Inquiry Classroom operational 24/7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades, or unforeseen network outages may result in temporary downtime. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any specific feature of the site at our discretion without prior notice.

You agree that Inquiry Classroom will not be held liable for any inconvenience or loss of data resulting from such interruptions. We will, however, make reasonable efforts to schedule planned maintenance during low-traffic periods to minimize disruption to your classroom planning.

Termination & Exit

These terms remain in effect for as long as you maintain a profile or interact with our site. Inquiry Classroom reserves the absolute right to suspend or terminate your account—without notice or liability—if we determine that you have breached any provision of these terms or violated any applicable law.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform and its premium resources will cease immediately. If your account is closed due to usage violations (such as unauthorized resource distribution), you are prohibited from creating a new profile under a different identity without our written consent.

Governing Law

Regardless of your geographic location, this agreement is governed solely by the legal statutes of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising from your use of Inquiry Classroom that cannot be resolved through informal mediation will be adjudicated exclusively in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.

We encourage members to first reach out to our legal liaison to resolve any conflicts amicably. This “mediation-first” approach helps us maintain a collaborative and professional relationship with our global community of educators.

Warranty & Liability

Disclaimer: Inquiry Classroom is provided on an “AS IS” basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of fitness for a particular educational purpose. We do not warrant that our resources will meet every individual school’s specific curriculum requirements.

Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the incident. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the platform.
