PYP Focus Area Learner Profile & Reflection

The IB PYP Learner Profile Storybook & Reflection Journal is a student-friendly resource designed for Grades 1–3… to help learners explore and develop an understanding of the 10 IB Learner Profile attributes through stories, guided reflection, drawing, discussion, and self-assessment.

Rather than presenting the Learner Profile attributes simply as definitions, this resource uses short, relatable stories to help students see how an attribute can be demonstrated through everyday choices, actions, relationships, challenges, and learning experiences. Each story is followed by a structured reflection journal that encourages students to think about the character, connect the learning to themselves, and reflect on their own actions and choices.

The resource follows a simple learning journey:

Read → Think → Draw → Reflect → Self-Assess
